Have always wanted to try HLC and taking advantage of the Black Friday sale on holiday candles seemed like the perfect opportunity. I am more than pleased with my purchase - shipping was so quick and the reviews/scent descriptions were accurate. Lodge is a perfect holiday scent that will also be perfect going into January. Can’t wait to try out more of the candles!

The smell is excellent and the throw is good. It creates an ideal ambient smell that is definitely there but not overpowering

I decided to purchase Lodge scent-unsmelled because 1) I have loved all of my other Hotel Lobby purchases, so #trust and 2) I read all the fragrance notes and figured, 'that list sounds good to me!' In summary, I am happy but not thrilled with Lodge (I was, for exampled, THRILLED with Holiday). The overall quality is still excellent, the brown color is luxurious, and the scent is nice... but it's less sexy-wood-cabin-earthy-toasty-hot-lumberjack as I was hoping, and more... dapper old man who I wouldn't mind sitting next to in the theatre for a couple hours. I'm still going to burn the whole thing, but I'd sooner purchase another New York or Holiday for my fall/winter vibes before Lodge again!

Lodge has to be the most amazing scent out there. If you imagine sipping a hot toddy by a fire place while it’s snowing, this is the scent you want to remember that happy scene.

This scent feels like a warm hug on a winter's day! It's an earthy, leathery mix that makes you truly feel like you're around the fire in a luxe lodge near the holidays.
