I purchased the Hotel Lobby Candle in the “Mahjong” scent initially for its gift-ability, but I ended up keeping every single one for myself. The fragrance is warm, inviting, and unexpectedly transportive. While the brand describes it as fresh and meditative, to me it feels like stepping into an old-world library: leather chairs softened by age, intricate wood detailing, and a moody parlor glow. There’s a subtle masculine edge that makes it feel grounding rather than sweet, and it fills a room beautifully without being overpowering.

Even my husband, a tough critic when it comes to home scents, declared this one a keeper. The candle itself is just as lovely as the fragrance: poured into a chic lilac glass, it burns evenly and seems to have impressive lasting power. I’ve burned it often and still have plenty left. This was my first Hotel Lobby Candle purchase, but it absolutely won’t be my last.

i rarely think the more expensive things are worth it, but this one is! genuinely the best candle i have, and i have a lot of candles. i will be purchasing every scent bc they last a pretty long time, smell amazing, and the smell lingers so even lighting it for just a few hours leaves my house smelling nice for the rest of the day
