A few weeks ago, Matt and I attended Night at the Pier, Family Equality’s annual gala that celebrates activists, allies, and change-makers who have dedicated their lives to fighting for LGBTQ+ equality. Hearing their stories first-hand served as a stark reminder that queer families need our support now more than ever.

We’ll be continuing our partnership with Family Equality through June and beyond, because we believe in fighting for our LGBTQ+ family and friends not only during Pride month, but all day, every day.

Love the Smell and the Cause

I have been hesitant to order a HLC because it's pretty spendy for something I couldn't actually smell before buying. However, I could not resist how gorgeous the jar was so I rolled the dice on a couple Pride candles. They smell AMAZING - the scent is sweet and fun but not overpowering and photos don't do the colors justice. It was smaller than I thought but burns really nicely and I can tell it will last a while. I also really love supporting a women-owned business that empowers important causes so I'll definitely be buying more.

This candle has it all. First off, the glass it is in is absolutely gorgeous. The colors are prismatic and it looks amazing when lit. Second, the scent is juicy and delicious. A definite must have.

I'll start by saying I'm a bit of a candle snob. I recently bought my first 3 Hotel Lobby candles and the scents are amazing. Will definitely buy again.
