"If you visit Nantucket in mid-June, you'll notice the wild beach roses (rosa rugosa) everywhere, blooming untamed along the dunes for just a few fleeting weeks. Their scent is completely unique, and nothing like the powdery floral fragrance we tend to associate with roses. It’s greener and dewier; an airy floral that blends the delicate notes of rose petals with fresh, salty sea air. This candle pays tribute to that brief, precious stretch of summer and the romantic spirit of the island in bloom."
